Weird question:

What drone eye colors count as “jewels”?

I know it’s not white, blue, or green.

I also know it’s probably not yellow because of the solver bs, that would immediately qualify the drone as “high risk” or something with Cabin Fever.

That leaves red, orange, pink, and purple.

But would mixed colors count?

Like a pale indigo? Or apricot? Would pale mint count or is that too close to green?

That would be Chapter 3 of Dmitri’s story and Chapter 1 of Ron’s story for reference.

Yellow actually does count as a Jewel color.

Shades can be tricky. Shades of White, Blue, and Green only count if that different color is something darker, usually. Even then, while valuable it's only barely counts.

Very much a situations like:

Human 1: Look at my new drone, I paid top dollar.

Human 2: For a common? Why?

Human 1: it's a jewel!

Human 2: White eyes means common - did you even try to find a jewel?

Human 1: It’s SILVER!

Human 2: Sure it is (heavy sarcasm)

Shades of colors outside of the common three, however, do count as Jewels.

If Uzi had been walking around with her yellow purple ombre eyes during the era of humans, she would have immediately been grabbed up by the J.C. Jenson families.

Duel color eyes usually means a drone is broken so if it's natural, they're usually not being sold, instead if any exist and it appears "naturally", the company usually takes that drone in for study.

Naturally meaning the eyes are like that from the moment the drone comes online.

All in all, yes, Cyn counted as a Jewel Drone; funny, isn't it? Tessa basically found a cracked dimond.

On a side note (since many of the Solvers are Jewels), no, being a jewel doesn't mean that drone is automatically a Solver. For example, Emmet Giam (Beau's dad) is a Solver and he has blue eyes. Similar note, Amanda (029) is a Solver with green eyes.

Eye color does not equal Solver Drone.

So, in the “In Remembrance of Unspoken Memories”, there’s Optimal Suppressors, Super Suppressors, and Broken Suppressors… are there any other types?

Okay so, first off, these are actually broad categories, each with a respective High to Low measurements.

Optimal Suppressors (most common) are programmed for quick compartmentilization. They still feel it's just that they're emotions are forcefully packaged away. That's how the drones can suddenly be chill with being around a murder drone like V. The better the drone is at compartmentalizing, the Higher their ranking in this category (and the more expensive they are).

Optimal Suppressors: every drone character unless stated otherwise.

Super Suppressors (rare) are programmed for indifference. They're aware of their own emotions it's just that they're not allowed to feel them. If they want to be able to actively feel anything, they have to force themselves into the moment and it's as exhausting as you can imagine. The more willing this type of drone is to try and feel, the lower their ranking in this category (and the less expensive they are).

Super Suppressors: Waylon Fischer (Teacher), Neonilla (Yeva’s Mother), Jo Constance (now Blue), Stoic Blue, (not including spoiler characters)

Broken Suppressors (not rare but not common) are not allowed to exist. A Broken Suppressor is what happens if a Super Suppressor is permitted to reproduce. They used to be more common when the Suppressor program was first introduced and before the Company outlawed their existence.

For them, their program is constantly fighting between compartmentilization (which allows some feelings) and indifference (which doesn't allow any feelings). The company outlawed them because if they received too much pressure then they're behavior could become dangerous and unpredictable.

Broken Suppressors: Yeva, Adrian and Anya (Yeva’s younger siblings), Doll Fotograf (considered second generation), Elizabeth "Lizzy" Borden Fischer, (not including spoiler characters)

The last categories are the Non-Suppressors and the False Suppressors (both are not rare but not common). Again, these categories, if discovered, are not allowed to live. While Non-Suppressors can't hid their emotions at all, False Suppressors can fake it - they can't fake it forever but that's why they usually need a good support system otherwise the stress of the world they live in, could eventually break them.
