Rachel had arrived home rather late, entirely on accident of course, she simply couldn’t shorten her trips out into town, not during the holidays! There was too much to see, too much to buy.

Approaching the door to her bedroom, thoroughly ready to collapse on the mattress, an odd moaning sound caused her to pause and immediately wake up.

Was that Sebastian?

She turned the knob as quietly as possible, only to be welcomed with a drawn-out “Rachel.”

Her face immediately flushed and she simply stood behind the half opened door, frozen and unable to decide to leave him be or continue on her intrusion.

Rachel had been greatly exposed to the Catholic denomination throughout her childhood and early to mid teens, though she never truly embraced it. While she has read the Bible from cover to cover, she sees herself as more of an agnostic. She knows of the existence of supernatural beings though questions Christianity. But if she had to pick a religion, it would be the closest.

Disrespect. Disrespect. Good lord, not gaining the right amount of respect and even fear from people could drive her mad. Even before she married Vincent, she had always expected people to listen and pay attention to her. She is fairly mellow most of the time, though she can be entirely devious should someone ignore her status or even simply commanding demeanor. Once she married into the Phantomhives, the fear that she gained due to her ties to the family boosted her expectation for respect, and she has killed over not being given it.

She caves in relatively easily once she knows she’s overpowered. I wouldn’t say she loses her composure, but she knows when the odds aren’t in her favor and she hates how “readily” she gives in.

Nearly anything involving Ciel and Vincent leaving her. Whether it’s death or a loss of love for Rachel, she can’t stand the thought of her loved ones abandoning her.

Honestly, I find it comparable to Sebastian. She puts on a bright smile and is overtly sweet to them in public, but alone she will give them glares and distasteful remarks as soon as they say or do the wrong thing.
