Speak From The Heart!⁠ ⁠ Meet Sister Charles, a local nun in Crow Creek Reservation of German descent who has lived on the reservation since 1984. The Unstoppable Chieftains!⁠ ⁠ Sometimes the biggest driving force for success is unity, and in the Crow Creek community we were able to see that idea in motion thanks to their local football stars, the Chieftains!⁠ ⁠ Jace (Front), James (Middle) and Dontae (Back) are 1st, 3rd, and 4th grade football players for their community’s team, and they take great pride in their win-streak from this season, going undefeated for quite a while before just recently suffering their first loss!⁠ ⁠ And while each and every one of them is exceptionally passionate about football, they all definitely value their teammates and understand that the best way to accomplish your goals is through working together!⁠ ⁠ Did you enjoy football growing up? Be Proud!⁠ ⁠ Meet Lorenzo from Fort Thompson, SD. Lorenzo is a Native American in the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe, and he couldn’t be more proud of his culture, and furthermore, his community!⁠ ⁠ As somebody who takes great pride in his heritage and his background, one of the most inspiring things for Lorenzo is seeing how invested the youth of their tribe are in their culture, taking pleasure in learning their language and carrying on the traditions their community has.⁠ ⁠ It was obvious from the moment that we met him that Lorenzo loves his community, and we know that the people of the Crow Creek Sioux Tribe are in great hands thanks to him, and to the children which encourage him to love his fellow people every single day!⁠ ⁠ Are you proud of your heritage?
