    The fox hummed in response as he sat with the mermaid, watching the colors of the sunset on the sparkling waves. It had been a long time since he was able to appreciate the beauty of the sea properly. Even when he was still a captain he had begun to take the sea for granted, no longer seeing the wonders of its waters and instead only seeing it as a ways to travel.

    Yet here and now as he rest with Keke he was feeling that told type of “spark” begin to return to him. His eyes glance back at the mermaid, gaze shifting downwards to her tail. The scales glistened elegantly against the remaining rays of the sun. He looked back at her face and smiled. He hadn’t met a real mermaid before her, but he was very thankful for her company. More than he was willing to let on. His heart skipped a beat at the thought and he looked away. His attention was quickly brought back to the view they shared. 

    “Aye… It is.”

    “Absolutely NOT!” Oh no, she wasn’t about to learn about that little secret. He drew back from her in hopes to keep his ears out of reach. A pirate was supposed to be intimidating and ruthless, not be made to melt in someone’s grasp when they rubbed his ears.

    “’n don’t be tryin’ that again, lass. Thar be nothin’ WEAK ‘bout me ears!”

                            Even if it feels nice to have such tender attention given to them like that.

The Storm King ( My Little Pony: The Movie )

                                      “Um….”

    The Storm King had seen many strange and unusual creatures on his conquest for power. It was just to be expected when going to countless different lands in order to conquer them. He had to admit however he wasn’t expecting something like… whatever this thing was that the Storm Creatures had brought to him in a net. She was clearly something involved with water if the tail told him anything.

    He motioned for the creature holding the net to bring her closer to him. The Storm King knelt down to the girl’s level, but even then he still very much towered over her.

    “What are you supposed to be?” Depending on the answer, he’d either see if he could make use of her, or have his minions dispose of her. Either way he counted it as a victory.

                            they   take   a   moment   to   observe   the   creature  ,,,   eyes   roaming   from   soft   skin  ,,,   scales  ,,,   fins   --------------   and   it   wasn’t   anything   atypical   to   what   they   had   seen   before  .    WATERFALL   housed   MONSTERS   similar   to   the   MERMAID   before  him  ,,,   and   quite   frankly  ,,,   he   didn’t   care   what   she   was  .    UNDYNE   was   far   more   T E R R I F Y I N G   ( at times )   than   her  ,,,   &&   the   SHYREN   in   WATERFALL   were   not   frightening   in   the   slightest   bit  .   though  ,,,   a   real -- life   MERMAID   was   far   more   interesting   to   them   at   the   moment   than   any   of   the   MONSTERS  .

                            they   sit   at   the   edge   of   the   dock   with   their   legs   dangling   of   the   edge  ,,,   eyebrows furrowing   as   they   spoke  .
