exaperation left petite’s lungs as arms crossed in front of chest. why was it so difficult to cook in the kitchen with a dozen people roaming about to much it up ! so many of them had joined together in the battle for haven , the apartment rented by ‘ team rnjr &. ruby’s uncle was overflowing. meal times were often tense , ending in arguments among some very opposite personalities. tonight was no exception. dropping knife to wooden board mid-chop , she shouted , ❛ YOUR BEEF ?! i don’t care what you do with your raw slab of beef as long as it is not next to the fresh produce. have you ever heard of cross-contamination ! ❜ scoff , then stomp of feet across linoleum titles fell. she might not be chef but she was aware of safety in the kitchen.
