A tavern isn't safe for a lady.
The rain was pouring on the princess' face. Since she escaped from her own kingdom, she realized that she didn't even know where to go, which made her wander under the rain, desperately trying to find a place where to stay for the night. It was her choice to leave, to deny her own destiny as the Princess of Mirkwood. Lillian was aware that her father wouldn't let her come back, not after she left him down, refusing to marry that cold elf she was destined to. Lillian always felt different than the others. Was it because of her short height ? The princess was convinced about that last detail. She knew how much her father hated dwarves, and seeing his daughter as tall as the enemy was definitely upsetting him, making him feel ashamed of her.
She chased those thoughts out of her mind after she found a tavern. There, the princess opened the door, stopping, feeling a bit nervous. She was definitely the only lady in the tavern. It was making her be uncomfortable, especially since she knew that she was known as the beauty of her own kingdom. She could notice the lusty eyes staring at her. Slowly, Lillian walked inside, trying to be majestic, ignoring them. She asked the owned something to eat before walking at a table, close to the fireplace. As she turned her head, she noticed a lonely dwarf. The princess found him pretty handsome. His dark long hair falling on his shoulders, his blue ocean eyes. He seemed different than all the other men staying around. The princess nodded at the waiter who brought her food.A man arrived at her table. He sat close to her, started touching her hair and whispering to her how beautiful she was and how badly he wanted her to share a bed later in the night. Of course, Lillian felt offended. She tried to move but the man already had his arm wrapped around her waist. " Leave me alone ! " She shouted, trying to move and fight against the bandit.
