the  royals  greet  their  people  with  grace  and  decorum  as  nobles  from  all  over  westeros  arrive  in  highgarden  for  the  wedding  of  the  princess  of  house  tyrell  .  their  banners  hang  proudly  ,  and  walls  are  adorned  with  garlands  of  roses  as  a  castle  ,  already  natural  in  beauty  ,  stuns all  with  lavish  decorations  .  

the  celebration  will  be  a  great  one  ,  with  festivities  lined  up  through  the  entirety  of  the  week  .  the  early  days  of  the  week  will  see  the  castle  gardens  will  play  host  to  a  fete  ,  where  nobles  will  be  spoiled  with  entertainment  in  the  form  of  musicians  and  jugglers  ,  the finest  of  refreshments  from  their  region  of  the  reach  ,  as  well  as  the  opportunity  to  obtain  goods  from  vendors  such  as  rich  wines  ,  perfumes  and even  the  highly  sought  after  woodharps  .

midweek  will  present  a  tourney  ,  hosted  in  the  princesses’  honour  ,  and  all  nobles  from  across  the  kingdom  are  invited  to  take  part  .  the  competitions  will  range  from  archery  ,   sword  fighting  ,  axe  throwing  and  of  course  jousting  .  

the  evening  before  the  wedding  will  see  the  nobles  join  for  a  grand  feast  ,  hosted  in  the  great  hall  ,  where  nobles  will  have  the  opportunity  to  indulge  in  the   finest  of  delicacies  from  across  westeros  ,  as  well  as  the  opportunity  to  present  the  betrothed  couple  with  their  wedding  gifts  .  

and  of  course  ,  the  festivities  will  come  to  a  close  with  the  wedding  of  princess  circe  and  lord  maksim  ,  said  to  be  the  most  lavish  wedding  since  the  kings  himself  .

with  the  announcement  of  our  first  event  ,  crownsfm  is  now  officially  open  for  in  character  interactions  .  please  keep  our  rules  regarding  starters  in  mind  as  we  begin  interactions  ,  and  most  importantly  of  all  ,  have  fun   !

in  character  ,  the  festivities  will  take  place  over  the  span  of  seven  days  ,  finishing  off  with  the  wedding  .  ooc  ,  these  events  will  be  broken  down  over  a  few  days  ,  which  are  as  follows     :

from  march  17th  to  march  25th*  :  for  these  seven  days  ,  threads  should  take  place  in  the  days  building  up  to  the  wedding  at  any  of  the  prior  festivities  .  this  means  that  you  can  write  your  character(s)  arriving  at  the  capital  ,  at  the  garden  fete  ,  the  tourney  or  the  evening  feast   .  this  will  be  considered  part  one  of  the  event  .  please  do  not  write  the  actual  wedding  at  this  point  as  there  will  be  time  dedicated  purely  for  those  threads  .

from  march  26th*  to  april  2nd*  :  the  following  week  will  be  for  the  wedding  event  itself  ,  with  a  specific  post  being  made  on  the  main  regarding  the  start  of  it  which  will  include  more  specific  details  .  this  will  be  considered  part  two  of  the  event  .

 you know what i hate? toxicity, lack of communication, clique behavior, and the idea that having the slightest bit of power makes you important, trust worthy, and worth my time. while the players here seem pretty great, i regret to inform you that you're all wasting your time with the pit of toxicity the admins of this group are and harbor. i've been roleplaying on this website and others since i was ten years old, and in my almost ten years of writing in groups run by people, i've never found one as poorly managed as this one. i've been talking with several people out of character, and i know for a fact i'm not the only one who has noticed this. that's right, sweeties, people notice your bullshit and aren't happy about it. you have an interesting plot that has been wrecked by bad management. being condescending, outright aggresive and childish, and just playing outright favorites with people who kiss your asses ( you know who you are, babes ) isn't how to run a group. you've destroyed a plot that has potential by being rude to simple requests ( remember when i asked you if you could darken the text of the main because i literally can't read it and you placed your aesthetics over accessibility? not a good look ), outright ignoring and not posting asks with valid points because it would out the not-so-nice side of this group, and ignoring people who aren't in your inner circle. and then there's the clique issue, which the admins themselves are at the center of. you talk about inclusion and replying to starters while you never once ask a new person to plot, ghost people who aren't you favorites when they try, and rarely reply to starters. you hoard the royals of the group - the last i counted, which was before the new admin, there were 21 admin characters. read that again - 21. you know how we can only take three, and four if we’re in the list of their favorites - oops, i mean, active? 21. most of which are kings, queens, princes, and princesses.  you also act like you're god over a goddamn plot drop. people have expressed concern and outright anxiety over these changes and you've brushed each and every one of them off with a 'trust us'. just because you hold a position of power in a group we're all a part of doesn't make you trustworthy. what especially doesn't make you trustworthy is closing off apps with no notice to your players and not answering questions about why you didn't bother giving us some notice.in truth? we see through you. this is just another stunt to secure your clique. you think that your characters are the protagonists of the group, which is extremely clear in the positions you chose for your characters, how you write them, how you kill them off in plot drops for shock factor, and how you don't accept any player input beyond that of your select group of favorite players, who i’m biting my tongue in an effort not to outright @. we're all members of this group. just because you run it doesn't mean you get to ignore us and not take out concerns, feelings, and needs into account. to all the players still around: leave this goddamn group. the plot is nothing special. the admins bring nothing but two dimensional tropes with plot armor to this group. this is a dime a dozen period group and there are dozens of them around right now. move your character somewhere better. move yourself somewhere better. i know several of you have noticed how the admins act, and i'm telling you you can find a group that actually cares about you and your character outside of set dressing for the grand plot they've planned for you. to the admins: grow the fuck up. you run a group that was in better hands with the old admin team. you don't have power - you're sitting behind a computer screen manipulating, being cruel, cold, and unkind to living people. i don't know how old you are, but you act like children. grow some empathy for the people around you and come to realize that a roleplay group isn't the time to write your great american novel.people outside this group know how shitty it is. you don't have a good reputation, and i'm going to be sure to make sure you don't fuck with more genuinely good people to get some dumb power high. so go ahead and unfollow me. do me that favor. bye bye, sweeties.

cool so i’m sure my unfollow is about to be posted but here’s my post.

i’m done. the incredible disrespect with which the admins treat their members is shocking to me. every message of concern that i have sent to them, read over multiple times to make sure they were polite and reasonable, asking about treatment of plots and information has been met with condescension and passive aggression. i’ve never been a part of a roleplay where people treat each other like this.

people are ignored, lied to, ghosted on an alarming basis here, entirely by the admins and a few of their favorites and i can’t believe this roleplay has survived at all.

their behavior is so fucking toxic and manipulative that i honestly don’t know what to do about it besides leave. i hope that everyone who remains has fun, but i would like this to be a reminder that you don’t have to stick it out waiting for like ?? table scraps of attention the admins and their main clique might dole out. this isn’t how you run a roleplay, this isn’t how you run anything.

Coronations usually brought an air of excitement and weariness among all who are P R E S E N T during the event. The Swedish princess didn’t mind the gatherings, but her mind meandered from this reality, lips downcast into a P E R T U R B E D pout. Her elder brother had fallen ill  A N D it took a lot for her to leave, but he didn’t give her much of a choice and had her sent away.

Those words echoed with an C LA N D E S T I N E design that didn’t go unnoticed by the speculative princess. Once her siblings discovered how and W H O she has been spending her time with -- the air would become insufferably tense -- more so than normal whenever she would walk into a room. And yet, among crowds of people, she looked for H I M, but what were the chances of him being there? At the coronation for soon-to-be crowned Prussian monarch?

A step back and she found herself gasping with surprise as there was an unexpected impact. “förlåta! Jag är ledsen!” Swedish flew from her mouth in a rush, cheeks aflame with embarrassment due to her far-off demeanor.

                though he and the noblewoman had joined together to help people escape from the castle, that did not stop alhwin from also beckoning (and in some cases grabbing) those they passed and gesturing for them to follow along in the group. he himself could not offer a shoulder to lean on, as he didn’t dare put stéphanie down until they were far enough from the chaos of the castle, but those in the group who were uninjured were encouraged to support their less lucky comrades as they slunk through shadows, only accosted a few times-- alhwin was quick to dispose of the attackers, and it was not until later that the deaths and fatal injuries he inflicted would catch up to his mind. “we’re going to the city,” he said to someone as they approached, shifting stéphanie to sit more firmly on his hip so he could feel better about keeping a hand free for his weapon. “come,” he demanded, giving no other explanation. if they were injured or unable to defend themself they needed to leave, and if they could fight then they were needed to protect the defenseless nobles who wouldn’t know what to do with even a club if it were given to them. alhwin himself was indisposed with stéphanie, and his usual speed with a sword was suffering for it.

                alhwin had never killed, but he hardly hesitated as he plunged his dagger into the chest of matthias’ attacker, his other arm wrapped around the man’s throat to hold him in place. when he slumped in alhwin’s arms, he dropped him without thought. he could deal with the fact that he had killed someone later; for now, he had a duty to his king to fulfill.

                matthias would be fine. he was up, walking; that was the best anyone could hope for. it screamed against alhwin’s very instincts to leave matthias, wounded as he was, but a direct order from his king was not something he could ignore. he scooped stéphanie up in his arms, holding her head against his shoulder to shield her view of the blood and death in the room, only hoping she had the sense to cover her ears as well. it didn’t take long to spot max, and then he was off toward him; he grabbed max’s arm, yanking him bodily under a table and following, stéphanie still bundled in his arms.

                “are you alright? are you injured?” he demanded fiercely, searching what he could see of max’s face and body under his mask and clothes for any signs of blood or injury. “we need to leave; toward the city, away from the castle.” matthias had said to help others leave, but he had to have known that max would be alhwin’s first destination.
