Second Ambient Guest Mix Released as Part of Circumambient Series
My second ambient guest mix is now online on Mixcloud!
This time the mix is released by Thomas Mathie, a.k.a. @headphonaught, as part of his Circumambient series. A big "thank you" goes out to Thomas for giving me the opportunity to do a guest mix for his lovely ambient podcast series.
Just as in the first mix I have included tracks of indie ambients that I like very much and I believe deserve more attention. All tracks have been released in the past two years. Artists included in this mix are Misleading Structures, April Larson, Jake Beamish, Saito Koji & Sima Kim, Tim Rowe, Hilyard, Nimon, Microvolt and Above, Convenience Store. And a track by yours truly of course. ;-)
Go check out these artists if you like what you hear and buy/download their music!
Enjoy!

Hello my friends! Finally my first guest podcast is online!

The mix contains tracks by indie ambient artists that deserve more attention in my humble opinion. You will hear tracks by April Larson, Grey Frequency, Roofhare, Wolfgang Merx, Ian Haygreen, Schemawound, Eigenfrequenz and Aldfrith. And a track by yours truly of course. ;-)

So much love from the At Water's Edge radio show on ambient radio website StillStream! In yesterday's show Rebekkah Hilgraves played not one, not two, but FIVE tracks from my first album, "Travels". I feel honored! Also many thanks to the listeners I talked to in the chatroom during the show for their wonderful comments.
You can listen to the podcast of the show by visiting the link below: http://atwatersedge.fm/still-my-guitar/
The digital download of the "Travels" album is available on Bandcamp for a very nice price. The album is also available on CD in a nice Digipak. http://crowslabyrinth.bandcamp.com/album/travels

The guys of website NEOFOLK have published an interview with Crows Labyrinth today.
The site was established recently by people with a passion for Neo Folk, Dark Ambient and Martial Industrial genres.
Check out the interview here: http://neofolksite.weebly.com/cw.html
Also check out their interviews with two other great dark ambient artists I admire: Grey Frequency and Atrium Carceri. Just click on the "Music" link at the top of the page. Once you're done reading the interview of course. ;)
I was aware of the fact that my music can evoke images in the listener's mind, especially when you listen to it with your eyes closed or with the lights down.
Daniel Cooper Clark's insight is a very remarkable one I wanted to share with you here:
" Winged fire lions float out of the volcanic fissures, rumbling. "
I love it!

Responses like this make me smile. :)
" Heliograph :) It's like being in a temple that frees your mind, wandering through the forests of consciousness. Soothing. "
Thank you, @lizardspeaks!

Chance meetings on Twitter. Those are the best. I had one of these a few weeks ago with Jennifer George who happens to be involved with internet radio station ProgRock.com. We could get along very well right from the start and had some lovely conversations via email and Facebook.
Jennifer wanted to support me and my music and arranged to have my music added to the vast music library of ProgRock.com, which counts over 30,000 tracks of all the great progressive rock artists that live and have lived on this planet.
Tracks can appear in random rotation and they can even be requested via the website. I promise I won't do that. ;-)
Okay, I lied. I did it once to test how it works. :-)
So what are you waiting for? Point your browser to ProgRock.com and listen to the best progressive rock you can possibly think of!
