Imagine...
…that your crush is your classmate and you are alone in the class, because everyone left early. Or so you thought.
He enters the class expecting to see a couple of classmates, but it is just me. We are finally alone. Just the two of us. He seems aghast, overwhelmed by his emotions, but trying to keep, as always, an emotionless expression. Our eyes meet, just for a second. His lips curling upward, forming a nervous smile. He sits down on a chair while staring at his feet. A slight pinkish tinge appears on his cheeks.
I always admired him. Besides his superb features, he is very wise. He is not a flawless person, for we all are flawed. His eyes are the colour of jade, a stunning shade of green, similar to spring grass. Spring… the symbol of rebirth. His hair is messy, slighly curly. His hands are mesmerizing, slender and sizeable. His fingers move with such elegance it is alluring. His lips are voluptuos and his laugh is the most deligthful sound I have ever heard. But, the most beautiful thing about him is his glance when he looks at me. He has this loving expression, his eyes glimmer in admiration.
I get up and sit in front of him. He sheepishly looks at me. He asks me about my day, striking up a conversation. While he talks, I grab his wrist, I glue my palm to his and interlace our fingers. For an instant his gaze shits to our holding hands while still discussing. He grabs my hand tighter. All of a sudden, he stops chattering. He inclines foward over the desk and grabs my face. When our lips touch, it sends a blissful reaction through my body. The sensation that our kiss has created is beyond words. He is deliberate and slow, caring and loving, passionate and heartfelt. His left hand is grazing my cheek, deliberately going down to my neck. His right hand is placed on the desk maintaining his weight. The touch of his fondling warm fingers feels like it belongs against my skin. When we break the contact, my mind is racing. A thousand thoughts, a thousand emotions, but just one person. One person that managed to do all of this to me. The pinkish tint of his cheeks is now red as blood.
We spend some time talking about nothing in particular. We aimlessly discuss things, anything. It is a very intimate feeling. Talking to someone about silly things or more profound matters. The thing that bothers me is that we act like nothing has happened. It is all natural between us. But the sentiments got a hold of me and I can’t contain myself anymore. I place my hand on his chin which I lift slightly as I marvel at his features. I look into his eyes, keeping us safe from the passing of time. Let’s just live in this present moment, but forever.
