not an ask really but I wanted to mention that for a good few years I had this specific art as my wallpaper on my phone, as my desktop background and, weirdly, as my background on Google Chrome. I really liked this art

14 crush was the first Splatoon related blog I ever kept up with as well as probably the first Splatoon fandom thing I ever interacted with period (that I can remember I was a young ass teen when this blog was active lol). It's staggering that it's been 6 years already... Time flows too fast I don't like it :(

i could probably give more in depth answers if i thought abt itbut my first thought is that i woudl exchange Ahato's pullover hoodie for an unzipped one. cause i think its cute! i made a doodle iwth that idea sometime early last year its cute

14 crush is so off base that i think itd be like a different plot entirely if it actually reflected canon. that's why around when splatoon 3 was getting close to launch, i could see the signs, and i was like. Ok crush is in stasis forever so i dont have to change anything about it no matter what happens HAHAH

i have different agent OCs these days that arent as bound to a specific story so they can be a little more flexible with canon. also they're just more in line with the kinds of OCs i make now compared to when i was a teenager ... i talk about them on main sometimes you might see em around. these ones have actual names!! crazy

lee easy. they're practiced at not blinking. they love staring contests. they also love not actually challenging anyone to a staring contest and instead just looking at them.

Did you ever thought to reboot the 14-crush?

nawww crush is... very much a product of its time (that being,... when everyone was still buzzing abt octo expansion and when haikara walker was new) and we've already discussed the situation with its relationship with actual canon more than once...

it's also a product of. Me being a high schooler LOL im a different person now and anything i'd make now would follow suit. (hence my newer agent ocs being really different haha) im perfectly happy the way crush is now.
