The joke kinda writes itself… but I can assure you, Another Crush’s latest single doesn’t suck at all.
‘It Sucks’ sees the Canadian band release their 'poppiest’ song yet with a sugary cut of early-era Paramore-esque balladry. They also keep things nice and simple with a self-proclaimed 'pretty’ video, featuring time-lapsed footage of a glorious sky.
As the band says about the track via press release:
Crushed [Another Crush’s latest EP] was produced by our good friend Thomas McKay at Toronto’s Exeter Sound Studios. He’s an absolute master at composition and studio recording. When we brought “It Sucks” to him, he told us that we were breaking some rules. He said “you don’t usually see three climaxes in one song,” but he believed in our vision. Alongside our mastering engineer, Vic Florencia, Thomas made it work.’
