Gabe awoke in the middle of the night as he realized where he was, as the loud whirring of the turboprop engines indicated that he was in a plane. The lights in the plane were dimmed as he looked around, before looking back at the screen in front of his entertainment system. They still had a few hours left of the flight, as he looked to the side of his seat and chuckled at the absence of the person next to him. “She must be gone to the toilets…” He replied quietly to himself, as he leaned in his seat, waiting for Nathalie to come back.

The Help

Nick Goldman had woken up that day without a hangover. Which was saying something since he normally did so after a weekend. He only ever drank on weekends. Never during the weekdays. That had been one of his rules since he started living by himself. In another house that is. His parents never really had been around and he had grown up alone. As he made himself breakfast Nick went over the list of things he had to do that day, when he remembered that the new help would be arriving that day. His previous one had retired. She had been at the job in his family estate long before he was born so he figured she deserved it. So now here he sat, waiting for the new help to arrive. He had simply asked the previous maid to recommend someone. And she had. 

Now it was just a few things to cover up. Like what days she could come in. What her pay would be. And of course how she would do her job. Nick would simply ask her to do a couple of chores in front of him. Though there was a thought in the back of his mind that kept poking him, and he chuckled at it, shaking his head and then suddenly deciding to risk it.
