Howdy! I’m trying on legal names for size right now, so you can call me Crusty (they/them)

I’m 27, and 10 years later I’m finally getting back into writing and doing art. I’ve already started to outline a one piece fic about the Cross Guild, and I’ve begun practicing drawing for such as well.

I have no feasible idea of what my timeline will look like here, but I’m going to be kind to myself about it because it’s something i fundamentally enjoy doing.

I did have a One Piece side blog over at @skypeia-the-golden-balls and seeing everybody’s art and writing inspired me enough to make a whole new blog for my whole new creative stuff!

Today at work I pissed off a scam caller

-They call saying there was an issue with our Christmas music… which was currently playing

-I tell them “that’s weird, cus it’s playing right now”

-They say a higher level manager called them. I ask for said managers info to verify

-when they refused, I asked if their refrigerator was running and hung up

-said scammer got so pissed I hung up they called back just to tell me I was *rude*

-I offered to put them on hold to speak to someone else, during which they hung up on me

Pffft it only got to 102F/39ishC today. I thought it was going to be worse. I even got to walk to my doctors appointment!

So Oda really has made a point throughout One Piece to show us the importance of found/adopted family. Now, that being said, biological family still very much exists. See Luffy talking about Shanks vs Dragon.

Now, I am going to get into who GARP is biologically related to since we’ve seen time and time again that he’s called Dragon his son.

Like I said, Oda really nails in the point of found family, which is why I think Monkey D. Dragon is Garp’s adopted son. They do have some similarities in behavior, but not much in their styling or their faces.

For example, Garp and Dragon don’t have similar hairlines or faces, but they do exhibit similar behaviors.

Case in point with the nose picking.

BUT, do you know who I *do* think is Garp’s son?

Crocodile

Why? Wowie Oda has blessed me with some evidence. Similar hairlines, similar muscular neck, the characteristic seemingly genetic Monkey D. rudeness and not remembering peoples names.

(And if you ask me about the nose, I think of the adage “cutting off your nose to spite your face”)

And when Garp took on Kuzan as his apprentice from Ch 1087

ANOTHER reason I believe Crocodile is two-fold because I know Oda is punny

1. The existence of the alligator gar

2. The book/movie “The World According to Garp” that depicts a man struggling with his life and safety of his kids and learns about tolerance and intolerance from a trans woman named Roberta Muldoon (and gets told by her “the only thing you got from your mother is your natural ability to piss people off”)

So there you have it! My theory that Garp is Crocodile’s biological father.

Now I’ve been a Crocodad believer for a while now, but whether or not *Crocodile himself* is trans remains to be seen and I’m probably going to go into that in a little more detail in another post.

Doing me and minding MY business has honestly solved half of my problems. I don’t have to talk to people I don’t want to cus I’m a fucking adult and it helps soooooo much.
