this is where we WORK
...we had fun last night.
did one of dem fings :)
i love seeing your housemates in videos like the one you just posted because they seem really cool hahaha. how did you meet them? through work? school? etc?
Ah that’s lovely :) I love putting them in videos because they are my favourite thing in the whole world. Our group started building in 2011…
*history documentary voice* when 3 of us met at college. That was Me, Moss (James), and Ollie.THEN, after I’d been YouTubing for around 6 months, I held a cardiff gathering, where we met Adam, a YouTuber, who also turned out to be on our course at college, but the year above! Adam later brought in Olivia who he knew from school. In the meantime, I met Matt (from London, but eventually moved to Wales for Newport Uni), Alice (already in Cardiff for Uni), and Emma through gatherings and YouTube and such, and THEN when the college lot of us went on to second year, we went on a trip to New York where I properly made friends with Tom, who was on the first year. We later met John technically via twitter! just before Summer in the City 2012. He eventually moved here too! There’s also Hanna, who I met through YouTube too. She’s unfortunately back in the U.S. right now but will return one day! And of course Stanley.
We all gradually formed a beautiful little gang by meeting at a coffee shop called the College House (nothing to do with college. Just coincidentally named!) every week. Lovely place. Lovely owner called Dan. Shaped our friendship. Closed eventually cause of new ownership. [VIDEO OF OUR WONDERFUL COLLEGE HOUSE TIMES]
By the time it shut, half of us had decided to live with each other. A year and a half on, even more of us do. We all love stupid jokes, making films, and laughter and we’re all living happily ever after <3 :)
Got home from work to “YOU WANNA PLAY HIDE AND SEEK??” last night and after 20 minutes of scrambling around and all being discovered in the dark, we finally found Tom. ON THE SECOND FLOOR ROOF.
I love my friends quite a bit. It's actually disgusting.
For my 20th birthday, while I was CONSIDERABLY hungover
my friends set up a fake gameshow and gave me £200
I can’t even express the love I feel for these people.
just
ugh.
