I need some expert advise - how did you deal with separation anxiety with your little one? My niece is pretty much crying herself to sleep everytime mom and dad aren't around

Fighting bedtime
I've got the baby in my arms and I'm listening to the boy cry. His cries have always devastated me - it feels like it cuts through me. Wilder's taking a break after putting him to bed, which didn't apparently go as smoothly as usual.
He recently started telling us "bye bye" when he's ready to go to bed, but he doesn't always do it. Tonight he's just crying and it's been ten minutes, which is very unusual. I want to go in there and comfort him but I don't know that it would help 😭

Shane had a nightmare and needs comfort.
Cora is beyond exhausted, but she holds her crying baby in her arms and tries to calm him down. After he is calm enough to go back to sleep, she tucks in Shane then tries to get some sleep herself, so she isn’t totally exhausted for work.
Cora goes to work tired. At work, she forces down enough coffee and makes all the right decisions. (A pop-up window gave her a medium boost which pushed her performance bar over the top.) Somehow, she got the promotion to project manager. But at what cost? Being tense all the time and being grumpy to Lucas. She loves Lucas. She needs to treat him better.
No More Lying
Realizing that he couldn’t lie anymore, the tiny blind Brave closed his door as best he could and sat in the middle of his room, crying and rubbing his optics with his servos. He felt bad for lying to the others.
I am getting a headache from all this yelling.
