What can you tell us about Cryptic!Ash?

Cryptic Ash is actually a normal trainer!

He looks like our good ole Ash ketchum, exceot his aura is a lot more active (not that Ash knows)

He tends to go out at night and follows the cry his aura is focusing on, where he goes off to help injured pokemon or injured trainers.

He takes on the closest form of the partner by his side, so people often mistake him for a conglomerate of Pikachu and Raichu or a Lucario.

He's actually a foljtale by the time he gets to Sinnoh, where natural disasters happen and are fixed by the Cryptid.

Ash of course- has no idea that he is the cryptid so he and Pikachu are always super upset that that always manage to miss the cryptid.

This is cryptid!Ash!

During the Soearow Event in Kanto, Ash and Pikachu were electrocuted by a natural lightning bolt, barley saved by Pikachu being able to redirect that bolt of lightning onto the group of Spearow instead.

Because of that, Ash’s aura abilities came out rather quick in order to save his more vital organs. So during Kanto, Ash’s aura would then seek out sick, lost or injured people/pokemon in order to heal.

Whilst doing so, his aura subconsciously started to change parts of him in order to not be noticed, because Ash didnt want people to know who he was and how he helped them, thus creatung the creature above.

Because of Ash’s closeness with Pikachu, and their Aura’s sort of binding together, Ash’s cryptid appearance took a a more Pikachu like turn.

People of Kanto that have been missing for years, come back home with a tale of a monster, soft, but with menacing blue eyes that came and found them at their weakest.

Others say its a band of new pokemon.

One claims it’s a group of Pikachu.

Rumors start to go around, gentle at first, before it starts to rave about.

There is something new in Kanto, and whatever it is, its only been friendly so far.

The rumors move onto more regions.

Johto, Sinnoh, Hoenn, even Unova-

No one knows what to say anymore.

Its always seen during legendary events, but it disappears before anyone has the chance to really get a good look at it.

The superstitious call it an omen, the optimistics call it a blessing.

There is no guarantee that The Creature can heal your pokemon, but if you pray for good health, it will come when it can.

They say it stands on two legs and uses electricity. Some say it slips in through the cracks of your doors and windows, stealing money from the rich to give your Pokémon the best care.

Many say it’s a fairy/electric, but mo one knows.

They call it Aslepius

So in the Switch au, why is Ash the color that he is? He doesn't look like a Shiny Pikachu. I assume he's got his name because of his fur color.

So for me- Shinies don't fall on a spectrum, they can be a variety of colors it's just the most common are the ones we see in the pokedex.

Ash is considered an uncommon shiny, because his coat is so drastically different from his non-Shiny counterpart and actually *helps* him in his environment.

But the reason his coat is like that is because of his parentage, and he's named Ash because Pikachu found a bunch of soot in his fur. I've doodled him as a normal colored pikachu before though XD

Cryptid ash’s silhouette is meant to look like a pack of Pikachu pressed against each other or the Pikachu line anyway.

....Cryptid!Ash be looking dope, but I've gotta ask. Is he permanently stuck like that? Or is it sort of like a transformation thing his Aura does? And if not Transformation, fusion with Pikachu using the Pokaro Dance from DBZ? That Fusion-Ha thing? XD Cause I don see the little rat anywhere, and I feel Ash's appearance is connected to that if that's the case.

As for his form- no, he's fairly human most of the time, but there are moments when his aurs screams to find someone and he sneaks off that he turns into this cryptic like diety.

He's not permanently stuck like this
