and it's embarrassing is what she doesn't say. hardly a woman to hide away from her feeling or reactions, but the fact that her heart is currently beating double-time, pounding against her ribs, just from him kissing her? it feels a little silly.

well, technically speaking, nobody ever did teach her to knock. this still wasn't necessarily a conscious choice but, well — she's not all that sorry about it, either. vic folds her arms over her chest, leans against the doorframe as her eyes flick over him. not at all subtle, but subtlty isn't really one of her strong suits, if she's being honest. asher should kind of expect that much, at this point.

"maybe i was," and all she can do is hope that her face isn't turning pink, because she doesn't need to fumble that badly right now. "that a problem?"

she kind of thinks that her head might explode over how hot that is..on knees before him already, she presses a kiss to his hip, bats her eyes up at him like she's the picture of innocence. it's been taking all of her self-control not to just touch him already, speed things along a little — but she wants this all to last, wants to enjoy it. for the best if she lets asher set the pace, be in control.

"yeah?" soraya swallows hard, eyes flicking up toward his face as she shuffles forward on her knees. she reaches out to smooth her hands over his thighs, upward over his hips. eyes are still locked on his when she leans into take the head of the toy into her mouth.

it's a joke until it isn't. sure, she's meant it every single time she's made some slightly off color joke about kissing him (he's cute and he's nice and he's bright, so sue her) but the part where he agreed this time? she's not expecting that. that's probably at least in part because she's never picked up a hint in her fucking life — she's just figured he's been being nice this whole time. there's never been a reason for her to think otherwise... has there?

she's jerked out of that train of thought by the slow, too slow brush of lips against her own. testing, gentle, is exactly what she expects from the situation here, but — well, she's impatient at the worst of times and kissing really is a great pastime. vic sighs against his mouth and presses in just a little closer, kisses him a little bit harder. not trying to scare him off.

nerves hit her hard, heart suddenly begin to race. sophia can feel the blood rushing to her face and she knows that she's now blushing like crazy. ash is pretty good at that, at making her react like this. she tries to speak but, at first, all she can do is stutter in response. it takes a few attempts for her to actually form words. ❛ i mean, ❜ she glances at him, only allowing her gaze to fall to the fall out of an overwhelming shyness. she can't watch his reaction to her next sentence. ❛ i would't say no if you wanted to, you know, test that theory out. ❜ she is a scientist after all.
