Hi there. That's a very good question. Of course, you can save my works on your computer. That’s fine. I do this too - I’ve saved thousands of amazing artworks. But I don’t own them. It’s like: when you visit a gallery and see a beutiful artwork and take a picture of it - you don’t own it. It’s just a photo of it on your phone. With a piece of crypto art, everyone can see it, have it on their harddrives, but only one (or few) person/s can own it. So when you buy that artwork, you own it and you can resell it in the future if you’ll want to. Most of the artists provide the highest resolution of the artworks they've got on cryptogalleries. Typical art-world problems like proving authenticity, provenance, and other data about artwork are solved, because everything is tracked on the blockchain, a permanent ledger. Also when you buy an artwork directly from an artist (artists recive around 80-100% of the price from crypto galleries, as opposed to classical galleries fees - where a gallery takes 50-70% of the price) you support him/her to create more of the great art, that you like so much (and make it even better, because they have more time and opportunity to do that). They even might quit their day job and become a full time artists. Who knows what they will be able to create with your support?
