okay like, I'm ace and I'm starting to come to terms with 'maybe my friends aren't right about aphobia not being real' and stuff, but I still can't fully come to terms with people who are hetero being supported in the LGBT community? I dunno how to explain it and I was hoping maybe you could provide some arguments for me? (i also just got told by somebody in an anon they hope i choke on a cock because i'm aspec so that was fun)
Have you actually looked through our blog at all? It exists for a reason.
I mean if you just search our blog for “heteromantic” you will find tons of posts.

I’m sick of trying to explain to other aces and aros why they should give a damn about each other.
If I had never entered the ace community identifying as a heteromantic asexual, I would never have accepted that I was attracted to women, and I definitely wouldn’t be running this blog. You are not helping anyone by trying to be a gatekeeper. In fact, you are hurting other aces and aros! If you’ve been hurt by aphobes, you should know better than to be exclusionary to anyone, regardless of how “het” they are.
