whoever is behind the asian lay’s flavors i am always kissing you on the mouth
turned 21 today yayyy happy bday to me [crosses off "inform the people in my phone of the date" from my comedically long checklist of things to do today. in the most me move i've ever done]
have i ever told you guys about my insufferably queer liberal white woman boss. and how whenever she takes an order and someone asks her how she's doing she says, "persisting." all dramatic like. ever since trump came into office. if someone asks her what that is, she goes, "surviving but with more teeth." like girl you've bragged to me before about how you're the sugar baby of all your partners. you go horse riding every saturday. i said, "i need more hours to make rent" once and you changed the topic and went, "i don't get to go home to my partner with the wine subscription today." "persisting" i'll fucking kill you
i cannot stress enough that prev post is not what maybe happy ending's about and was just my brain wandering off. but also go listen to maybe happy ending
"robot is nonbinary because they're inherently genderless as mechanical beings" BOO. WRONG. "robot exploring being nonbinary because humans have made them as a reflection of societal norms so they've been aggressively boxed into boy robot or girl robot" YAY. HOORAY
will sending me ocd posts has become quite scary given that the posts capture the inner workings of my brain too well. i thought i was having normal if a tad thorough thought processes surrounding every choice i make. what do you mean this is the disorder. disordering
genuinely kind of insane to me the way people who consider themselves liberal and leftist are often scared of the word racist. like this is white fragility 101 but it is so off-putting to me when i encounter it irl. you can say you support poc and that you have anti-racist values but are you going to take the time to consider that it is a lifelong journey unpacking the implicit biases you have lived with your entire life? and that if someone is saying you might have been racist it's not a synonym for You Are A Bad Person, it's a call to step back and reflect on your actions? because if you center your own discomfort with regards to racism above all else you really are not making a safe space at all. & are simply just posturing as such
