Why might an aro person choose to date? Also do you think/how is it fair for an aro person to date a non-aro person/someone who experiences romantic love? (Hope these didn't sound rude just curious)

I would hope that any aro person who is comfortable/knowledgeable about their romantic orientation would speak to their partner before/upon entering a relationship. You should always make it clear to you partners what you expect out of a relationship, and that goes for anyone, not just aro/non aro relationships.

And an aro person would choose to date for all of the reasons that other people with different romantic orientations choose to date, except for love lol! People can still want to be in a exclusive relationship for reasons other than love, such as sex, emotional stability, support, loyalty, and companionship! Relationships have a lot more to them than just love, but not all aros want to date, and not all aros want to be alone!

The top lad himself @crystal-lions I know we don’t talk that much anymore and haven’t seen each other in years, but that doesn’t mean for a second that I value our friendship any less. I have some of my favourite memories with you. You always put so much effort into everything you do and I don’t doubt that you’re destined to do great things!

Our friendship has been something that I always look back on fondly. You always pushed me out of my comfort zone with some things and I appreciate that. You are also such an incredibly sweet person. I mean that completely. Some of her inside jokes still make me laugh - like the ill-fated band Gang Signs & Coffee (I still stand by that I Love You But I Love Dick More is a masterpiece of a song). I am so proud of you for simply being you. You are someone who I still consider to be a good friend.

You also have full rights to say ‘I told you so’ as you called me not being cis on a train to London in 2016 (only took me two years to figure it out! Haha!)
