Even with her future vision, Garnet could have never prepared herself for this. Never prepared herself to see her again. How could you? The person that changed your life for the better. The entire reason you even exist. The person that put your life into motion. 

Yet also the person that lied to you. Lied to everyone. Was the reason so many Gems you’d befriended aren’t around anymore. The person that made the reason you existed a farce. 

She was so conflicted. She was furious on all parts, of course, but half of her wanted to try sorting things out-- the other half just wanted to scream until she lost her voice. Garnet wasn’t even sure which was which. All she knew was that she had to say something to get the other’s attention.

     IT'S more accurate to say the city changed hands, in Star Platinum's opinion. Office chatter is replaced by the twittering of birds who flit right through the Stand who ghosts through their nesting grounds, former cubicles. Windows long since shattered have redesigned it and every other structure into open-air architecture. What desires the office workers had to get out into nature while trapped here culminated. They got their wish. Green has taken it all back.

The tilt of the building gives a view of the street, horned creatures using the geometric layout of the city center as migration patterns. Star Platinum pauses combing through rubble for anything of interest to watch when he spots it. Or them.

Pink of all flavors dots the landscape in clusters of flowers. This has movement, in the sway of a gown, bounce of curls, bright in contrast to the android occupants who hide among the ruins. All of the Stand's sensors are tripped and one leap brings Star Platinum plummeting toward Rose Quartz, caught by the last second by the ability to fly.

For all the stern exterior, Star Platinum’s thrilled to have anyone come out here to share this place with. Most Spirale residence have little reason to venture out here.
