1 7/16", 4.4cm - Center Heulandite-Ca crystal measures a full 1", 25mm. From the premier locale in the United States for the Calcium end member of the Heulandite series! The Rat's Nest Claim had produced the finest examples of Heulandite-Ca, noted by its light salmon/pink color, currently known to exist. They form perched on white Mordenite at this locale, and this specimen is a terrific example for both the species and the site. The Heulandite-Ca crystals are fully formed, completely terminated, and translucent. The Mordenite is snow white and forms a thick coating on the minor Basalt matrix (not visible on display). Here is a great opportunity to add a key species and locale to your collection! Specimen comes mounted and labeled, ready for your display.
