OKAY SO

CRYSTOLAS SPIRITS.

Who or what are they, you may ask? Well, they’re basically the physical “offspring” of the two deities in Xominar’s world-wide religion, which are Ruhiel, God of Birth/Life (or Our Mother) and Savoriel, God of Death/Afterlife (or Our Father).

They’re technically not classified as “gods”, more like “demigods” or “guardians” but they’re called spirits by nulins. They each represent an element:

Evolet: Sun/Moon

Wovenlily: Flora

Ar’ dere: Fire

Ri’ viere: Water

Isen: Air

Cotinmai: Ice

Now, according to ancient folklore, different nulins had worshipped the spirits as gods before they had introduced themselves as… well spirits. The spirits actually used to interact with the nulins until something had happened to one of them and they ultimately decided to stay hidden along with their parents (Ruhiel and Savoriel.) They usually only come out when they feel safe to, which are only for very specific festivals.

Of course, there is a prophecy that states that one day they’ll come out of hiding, but nobody really thinks about it too much.

I’ll try to lock in and draw refs for them (along with Ruhiel and Savoriel), but rn I’m writing a dandy’s world fic and I wanna get Ch3 out so I can write 4 & 5!!

Nulins (Pronounced like “Nolan”) are the dominant species of the planet Xominar, and they mainly use that term to describe a group consisting of at least one different nulin.

They’ve evolved depending on their environment, such as lufkins evolving for the cold mountains, and kavunees evolving for the underwater.

(Will edit this if I must, feel free to ask questions about things I might’ve forgotten to mention!)
