I was stupid enough to hope that there would be a good story, that A &E will dare to write something awsome and memorable like what they MEANT to write originally. A bold story.

In the end OUAT was as forgettable and lackluster as A&E's faces.

Where they could have had an intriguing story of the hot guy being the ultimate bad guy, they put people to sleep with same-old boring hot guy married hot girl and had a pretty-faced baby.

And guess what? They specifically used Michael Raymond-James and Jennifer Morrison for the flashbacks so we could recognize Neal as the mystery man from 2x01. You want more? Michael is one year older than Jennifer. They used actors with similar age to show that young Emma and young Neal were the same age.

Just a friendly reminder to the anti CS/Hook crowd. Whatever you think you may know about the rest of the season, there are spoilers from filming that confirm that Captain Swan will be back together by episode 18.

And not only are they back together, but Emma is also wearing the ring again. Just in time for the wedding in episode 20.  

I'm only saying this because I care, guys. Don't get your hopes up. You'll only be disappointed. :)

Finally watching OUAT 6x08

In the first scene you could totally forget Hook is even fucking there! Who is the one who Emma is making plans with? Who is the one who is telling Emma they believe in her and she’ll beat destiny? Regina! Hook is a lamp. And later Emma is the one who reassures Regina that they can escape the mirror land.

Also, I’m sure Swen shippers have already pointed this thing out so I’m not the first person to notice this, Emma and Regina’s relationship is about selflessness while Hook and Emma’s relationship is about selfishness. Regina and Emma’s relationship is so much stronger because it’s an equal partnership. They turn each other back from the brink of turmoil, they believe in each other when the other doesn’t believe in herself, they trust each other and are on the same page when it comes to parenting Henry. I can’t help but compare Emma’s relationships with Hook and Regina and wonder what the hell A&E are thinking.
