           KNUCKLES    TAP    AGAINST    HIS    DOOR,    shopping  bags  resting  on  her  shoulder.  usually,   she  would  go  straight  to  serena’s  after  a  shopping  trip  but  he  is  her  boyfriend  now  --  faux  boyfriend,  blair  reminds  herself  quickly,  though  it  certainly  does  not  matter  much  --  and  for  that  reason  nicholas  can  be  the  first  to  see  the  clothes  she  has  acquired  (  as  well  as  receive  a  brand  new  hugo  boss  suit  that  would  go  perfect  with  her  dolce  dress  for  the  party  next  friday,  but  that  much  he  does  not  know  --  yet.  )        ❝  nicky,  hurry!  it’s  freezing  out  here.  ❞
