honestly, already sick of the newer rules regarding sales

despite not being allowed to make monetary transactions on cs, you can list money prices, and now 90% of the art shops are just usd/c$ ONLY. how the fuck is that allowed???

also, despite strong rules about selling pets for real money NOT being allowed, there are ZERO rules about C$ or FR gems even though they’re bought with real money and essentially make it pay-to-win.

By the way, anyone supportive is welcome to make a Benor themselves and spread the good word. 10 minute email websites are very helpful. If the mods truly didn’t care about their identities getting out, or if my proof was supposedly faulty, why run from it and hide it instead of refuting it with proof of their own? Why can’t they own up to who they are?

CS Salt Blog Mod Identities Revealed

Disclaimer: The proof I had for Mod Peach was lost because they deleted the incriminating post that had linked their personal tumblr blog in response to an ask. I did not think to screenshot it at the time. Some people may remember the post. Their blog linked back to their CS account. However, their identity is crucial to knowing the rest of the mods, so I hope by the end of this post I will have enough credibility for you all to believe me.

I compiled all of this evidence over a long amount of time and decided to share it with you all. Perhaps the most important thing to note is that all of the mods are staff in Deerserts. I know this because of Peach’s identity and comments they made, and also because after discovering three of them without shadow of a doubt (and all three were Deersert staff), it only made sense to assume the other two were as well. That is how I was able to narrow down the list of candidates for the mods by looking only at the Deersert staff list. I used mostly the salt discord as well as what little information they had about themselves on their introductions on the blog to discover them (like pronouns, etc). These will be in order of who I found out first to last.

Mod Peach

They were the first one I discovered. Like I said, no solid proof here, but hopefully things will add up near the end, as I wouldn’t have found out some of the others without knowing Peach’s identity. The most I can rely on is anyone who remembers the ask that Peach answered with a link to their blog. Also, the rest of the mods are staff of Deerserts, so it would make sense if their leader was also the owner of the adoptables that they all moderate.

This post from Peach is pretty damning. They work well with them because they work in Deerserts together, most likely.

And here’s a conversation about when Peach linked their tumblr. Dated back in May. Just to show the post was indeed made and I’m not simply making it up.

Mod Cinnaroll

Not really relevant anymore, as Cinna is mostly gone, but when she was active she posted images of her artwork under her Cinna pseudonym in the salt discord. The style was the same as that of recherche’s.

Obviously, not completely identical, but there was a month or two of improvement between the drawings. Some claim Cinna posted the drawing on the salt discord and it was just her “friend’s” drawing, but this was only stated after accusations of her identity started flying around. Cinna even admitted that people were finding her out, as you can observe from her posts in the discord around July.

Mod Phoenix

This one was so obvious it was almost sad.

Phoenix posted an image in the salt discord of one of their pets with their username poorly scribbled out.

Here’s a screenshot of the pet with their name attached to it. Note the pet ID is the same. The pet is still in their pet groups if you want to check yourself.

Mod Ice

Vanillasaur

During the summer event, Ice posted a screenshot of their pet groups, showcasing their lemurs.

This exact order of lemurs can be found in Vanillasaur’s “-Summer Event 2018″ pet group, on pages 3-4. After this post begins circulating, I would not be surprised if they move them around. Here’s a screenshot of their name attached to the lemurs. (And another.)

Mod Palomino

My previous proof was allegedly incorrect. Unsure if that’s true or not, but for safety’s sake I’ll remove this portion. If I uncover anything else for Palomino I’ll update this part.

In conclusion, this proof was all gathered over the course of several months. No, I didn’t slave away trying to find out their identities. A lot of this just came upon me by chance without me even really trying. Additionally, I won’t really be using this blog for much else after this is posted and sent around, but if there are any really compelling questions people have I might answer them. I don’t know. I’ll see. Just know that I don’t post this expecting everyone to suddenly hate the mods now. I want people to make their own decisions about this information.

And finally, I have my own reasons for being anonymous. If you wish to try and find me out, be my guest. I won’t be opposed to it, considering I just made this post, but I will not openly admit my identity.
