I simply wanted to participate in a CSP contest again :)
This time the theme was "nature"
So a fitting title would be "Nature takes everything back" (sooner or later)

My entry for the GalaxysCutest contest by CLIP STUDIO PAINT I haven't done any character design for a while, so I've decided to play with it a bit. Let me tell you what I had in mind! I've decided to mix some symbols/themes from Korean and Japanese culture, so we have there a tiger (what is South Korea national animal), a japanese macaque and a samurai. But it's not just an ordinary samurai. He is intergalactic explorer, who always travel with his macaque companion to conduct research on organisms from other planets. He's super friendly and love to draw, and it's why he always document his discoveries by doing drawings and sketches on his tablet. It usually attracts a lot of creatures from the local planet, what make the traveller very content... Unless the creature is not that friendly. Fortunately in this case they met some kind, flying beings!
Caught the opportunity to make a late Mermay drawing thanks to CS
Joining the #cspcontest28 with my oc Noah 💚. Made with Clip Studio Paint.
In the end I had no more fun with it, for personal reasons.
"Look Up" Some of my thoughts on the creation of this painting are going to get a bit weird, but here we go: My paintings usually come from ideas that sit at the back of my brain. I often notice how infrequently I look up to the sky. In fact my viewpoint is always facing either forward towards where I am walking, or down at what I am focusing on, such as a phone, screen or book. But by just tilting my head slightly back, things get put into perspective. Things like: I live on a planet flying through space and time. This world doesn't revolve around me. I am very small compared to the hugeness of the universe. And every time I let myself become aware of the spiritual world, it's expansiveness, power and colour, I also get similar feelings, but I also feel blessed to be so intrinsically connected to those spiritual heavens that surround us. #cspcontest24 #cspcontest #clipstudio #watercolor #watercolour #digitalwatercolor #digitalwatercolour #watercolormaxpack #procreate #makeart #faith #christiancreative #illustration #christiancomics #art #mangastudio #heavens https://www.instagram.com/p/CCb6KTlj-tS/?igshid=1hcirbbm7r8jl
