I used a an extension called StyleBot for GoogleChrome in order to alter the CSS of Udemy’s interface to have a look-and-feel interface that is more fun to us. I want it to go for a more future/classic/nonperfect look as opposed to current design trends that are so damn perfect, grey, dull, and not alive. I did this in 15 minutes so don’t hate on it - its not quite done yet alright. lol.
I’m going to apply this to other websites I use frequently and possibly create a consistent future-classic vibe across the board. I prefer online interfaces to look more like video game interfaces. I think it naturally asks for more interaction. Web-based UX is feels dry and dull and basic, even if it may be intuitive and intelligent in its own right.
