“Pope likes me better,” Leah told him matter-of-factly.
Without missing a beat, Pope nodded. “It’s true, I do.”
“There’s no respect here,” JJ cried indignantly. “I have no back up here, no one is on my side!”
“John B’s dumb enough to be on your side,” Leah told him brightly, giving him a patronizing pat on the arm while jutting her head in the general direction of where John B was trying to balance himself on the top of the roof.
