BASICALLY there’s a place in the wasteland literally called the watering hole. It’s an oasis, it’s HUGE, and it’s neutral territory. No one is allowed to claim it, anyone can drink from it. Tora respects that rule, which basically means it’s law.
Except Aster really doesn’t care about any of that. Like, at all. She sees a massive resource, and she takes it.
So now clan Aster is building an actual settlement around the watering hole, a place to set up a permanent clan. Having that kind of power has boosted her standing in the waste, and now Aster is an actual force to be reckoned with. She barters with anyone who wants water from her oasis, demanding whatever resources they have to spare for some precious few sips of water.
With the backbone of a solid clan established, Aster decided it was time to start a bloodline. She’s got three beautiful children, each of whom is under even more watch than anyone else in the clan. If they mess up, she won’t just banish them. She wouldn’t want to risk her bloodline being sullied by anything less than perfection, after all. She’d wanna make sure she finished the job.
