On my way 😂 #EntryRevealed #RainyDayFashion #CTEvent
The sound of wildlife surrounded the campsite. Hooting owls, chirping crickets, the sound of late summer was everywhere. Around the fire most of the campers were still gathered, telling stories and laughing. But most of them had already pitched their tent. It was getting late, and he figured he better start on his before it was too late.
One problem, he wasn't exactly sure how to pitch a tent. Sure he had read a how-to and watched a couple videos, but that only helped so much. At least in the peace and pseudo-quiet of the dark, no one was likely to come over and see the mess he made if he screws up. Sighing, he tried his best to remember what he had seen before setting to work, putting all his focus on the task.
Got lost in the forest? Me? Impossible. I totally didn't get lost at all. Heroes don't get lost in the forest.
So did anyone miss me? What did I miss?
QA glanced up from zir notebook as the busses pulled into the camp grounds. Ze was making notes about the campers, chaperones, and sleeping arrangements. It was always easier to cause problems prepared. Ze stuffed the notebook in zir trench coat, and grinned at the thought of the days ahead. Even if ZE didn't start shit, this should be fun.
For Anti, the bus ride seemed like an eternity. It may have only been two hours, but between the fact that he had not wanted to go anyway, and the fact that nearby students kept questioning him about his live with his "cool superstar dad," it felt like the ride would never end. Why had he let Brave Man claim that he was his father anyways? He supposed it was better than the truth - that his dad was a super villain. If that ever got out, there would be even less of a chance of him fitting in than there already was.
As the bus pulled onto the dirt road that lead to the camp site, Anti glanced out at the trees before looking down at the list of his camping group. There were several groups spread throughout the grounds, but his had a total of fifteen other people. Or maybe fourteen? Strangely, his name was printed twice. Was it a mistake? No matter, it meant he was in a tent by himself, which he had strongly preferred. He didn't want any nosy students getting in his business. Some secrets are best left hidden. At least, that's what he thought.
Up ahead, he could see the area they were camping in. As the bus slowed to a stop, he prepared to stand and get off. Hopefully he wouldn't get jostled around or anything like that. It was cramped enough in here as it was.
The sooner this weekend was over, the better.
