ONE AND ONLY: WELL, THIS IS CTRAUMA
What the HELL, China? Why not just stab me through the screen and be done with it? I thought I was immune. I thought I’d built up enough emotional scar tissue chasing happy endings and avoiding heartbreak. And then, One and Only said: “That’s cute. Watch this.”
The woman’s beauty is offered, The man’s soul is taken. For the affinity between one another, The heart is overturned.
Ugh, GOD. I am wrecked. The last two episodes broke me open. I cried so hard my soul left my body. This show is an exquisite, slow-burn tragedy - painful, beautiful, and impossible to look away from.
And honestly? It would not have hit like this without Bai Lu and Ren Jialun absolutely acting for their lives. Every glance, every pause, every breakdown - award-worthy. And listen… this is my little safe haven of drama brainrot, so I’m not tuned into fandom drama or actor gossip (forgive me or don’t, I truly don’t care), but I have to say:
REN JIALUN IS SO DAMN GORGEOUS.
I was already lowkey in love during Love of Nirvana (another Ctrauma, but somehow less triggering than this one? IDK), and now I’m in full spiral. He has officially entered my Top 5 Chusbands - and spoiler alert: he is NOT number five. He’s the blueprint for Tragic General Hotness. Strong. Stoic. Charismatic. Wearing the weight of the world and still looking like sin. I want him biblically, historically, and irreversibly.
Next up: Forever and Ever. I need healing. I need reincarnation. I need to see these two tragic soulmates finally get their happily ever after and for Ren Jialun to destroy me once again with his beautiful face and perfect bone structure.
Just finished Kill to Love. And I dare say, it's as heart wrenching and beautiful as The Untamed.
Working on audiovisual project on a short budget is very difficult. So I praise and thank all the people involved in this story. Their hard work was definetely worth it.
