what's the deal with submitting to the press?
We are currently accepting five manuscripts a month for review. We are a chapbook publisher, meaning manuscripts that we will consider should only be, at the most, 35 to 40 pages long. Our focus is on poetry & short stories & we give preference to work written by minorities of any flavor.To submit yours, go here to our Submittable page. Two Announcements
I got accepted into a no-res MFA program. I am going to apply to a couple of others but wow, it's good to see my weird shit have the chops to get into a program.
My long prose poem It's a Wild Swing of a Knife will be coming out as a chapbook on ctspress in 2015. It's a prequel to Bodies Made of Smoke.

Examples include:
Coffee fetching
Cigarette lighting
Serving as arbitrator when Moriah and I have arguments over literature (your job will be to side with me)
Manage Tumblr & Twitter accounts/make relevant posts
Serve as the vanguard for submissions we receive
In general, help us get our name out there.
It would be also pretty awesome if you have some art skills
There will undoubtedly be more tasks, but we can discuss those as they arise.
Ideal candidates should have a deep commitment to literature. Possibly even pursuing a degree in literature and/or writing.
