Ghosts aren't real.
The vampires, witches, and were-folk living in Cuarta Vela know that ghosts aren't real. Even the humans who rarely set foot in their town, a sanctuary for the Other Folk in the mountains, know it.
Ari, a new brujo in town, with the ability to see and speak to ghosts, knows better than to try to argue otherwise. And yet when Julieta, a curious, bloodsucking half-Potchtli, and Carlos, big-hearted were-coyote Nahual, discover Ari's secret, can the brujo trust them with the truth?
And are some secrets better kept in the dark of the past?

Carlos is a nahual, a shapeshifter who turns into a coyote. Well, normally anyway. He maybe ran into a soccer post. Allegedly. And can't currently transform. He's fine! Mostly. Probably.
He's a sunshine himbo, and Julieta isn't usually THAT mean with him. Just your classic wlw on mlm bullying.
