Do you have a color palette for the shading and lightings?? I didn’t see the swatches being used in the videos, so where do you store all those colors for shading, lighting, and so on?? Are they all guessed?

I don’t store them, the color of my shading depend of the mood and the actual color present in the flat render. I do love to play with violet, pink and orange the most whenever I shade though. I adjust them whenever I need to.

Theory (Contains heavy spoilers): Crookshanks is Harry’s old cat. In the series, it’s revealed that Harry used to have a cat- and he wonders for a moment about where it went. My theory is- what if Crookshanks was Harry’s old cat. It’d explain why he was aggressive towards Ron’s rat, Scabbers and was very trusting towards Sirius.

On the Harry Potter wiki (with cited evidence) it says that Crookshanks is half Kneazle- or an intelligent creature- but the only known person who has owned half-kneazle breeds was Mrs. Figgs (a squib) who is a dealer of cross-breed cats. She’s also a part of the Order of the Phoenix. With this information, we can assume that Mrs. Figgs knew Harry’s parents and gave them Crookshanks as a present or gift and since Crookshanks was half kneazle, knew what was going on around them. Why else would Crookshanks only be an ass towards Ron- who to his eyes was harboring a traitor, but a saint towards Hermione and Harry? It’s shown through their small interactions here and there (The cat on Harry’s lap or harry petting him as he purrs). Crookshanks is also especially kind to Sirius, after the two opened up to each other and his helping Sirius on catching Peter Pettigrew. Maybe Crookshanks was keen to help Sirius as a means to protect Harry and avenge his owners’ deaths. Either way, this is my more sensible theory that could be backed up and defended with evidence ^w^

Hey, SkoopSkoop, I want to try and make my own parasite blog but I don't know where to go. I was thinking of a 'youngster' parasite- naïve and reckless. A pest among parasites who only wants to party and do things a child would do- kinda parasite. But I have no idea if there's certain traits every parasite needs or If there's restrictions when you have a parasite. Like how parasites can't be older than 4-5 years old as to not conflict with cannon parasites? Could you help me a bit with that? :/

Alrighty. It’s been a while since I’ve received a parasite ask, so I hope I’ll be able to deliver.

As for a ‘youngster’ parasite concept, most parasites are already considered young. They act in varying degrees of childishness. Your parasite seems to be an atypical parasite, so there’s no issue.

Certain traits would mean your parasite would have a power, something unique to them that would start out weak before growing in strength to the point of either death or ascension. A groovy, radical name is important.

I’m also not saying that a parasite CAN’T be older than 4-5... I’m just saying it’s not following the canon developed for lesser parasites.

Wasn't Stan Shunpike a death eater by definition due to an Imperius Curse? So he isn't technically a Death Eater with the Dark Mark and everything- but somebody underneath their control? ._. *confuzled noises*

The original question was ‘who was revealed to secretly be a death eater?’ (or words to that effect) and honestly no, I don’t think it’s fair to class Stan Shunpike as a death eater. When somebody is under the imperius curse they have no say in their actions. None at all. So it’s really not fair to hold someone accountable for what they did under the imperius curse

It’s like if someone tweeted something racist and then it turned out that their account had been hacked. Would you then hold the person responsible for something someone else said using their voice? Of course not, and in the same way it doesn’t make sense to treat characters who were imperiused the same as characters who were death eaters voluntarily
