Cubed steak and gravy has been a favorite comfort food of mine since I was a kid. 😍 This reminds me of my Mom so much. It's been a little over a week since her passing and it's been so hard. Most days I feel like I'm just going the the motions... Thinking I'm OK, them BAM!!! A thought, a memory, a feeling, a conservation...something triggers me and I lose it 😭 No matter how many times I make cubed steak and gravy it's never as good as I remember my mom's being. I tried something different this time... I AIR FRIED it first. Then I simmered it for 10 minutes in a onion and mushroom gravy 🤤 This was by far MY best...
