his character inspiration comes from icarus (greek mythology), kylo ren/anakin skywalker (star wars), howl pendragon (howl's moving castle), and ferdinand von aegir (if you squint)
his favorite food is a simple recipe for carrot soup, but he hates most vegetables and loathes eating them in general
his western zodiac sign is scorpio
his likes include: Reading, Genealogy, History books, Sociable women, The shore, Being clean
he has two primary faceclaims: sein from the aisha manhua for ages 11-20, and v from dmc5 from ages 21 onward
he is slightly shorter than his father, standing at 182 cm (or about 6 feet tall)
sometimes i remember i made my 3h oc the in-universe equivalent of polish and i have to grapple with the fact that for my au, hubert married a slavic girl
i also have to remember that since i gave her a universe canon dialect Therefore she most likely would have some kind of accent- but at the same time all of the german characters Do Not have an accent (minus hubert's very minor british thing going on- disregard) so tbh i'm gonna live my truth and blissfully ignore that i've shipped a violently german man with a discount polish girl and now their kids are german and polish

his character inspiration comes from pinocchio (lies of p), jack (jack and the cuckoo clock heart), chell (portal), and regulus black.

his likes include: His sister, Drawing, Poetry, Sweet things, Traveling, and Board games.
he primarily communicates through sign language, which hubert taught to him when he was eight. before that, he used an assortment of communication cues (cards, letter blocks, pictures).
his personal skill grants a bonus 10% increase to any class-specific stats.

i will have you know that @medicallyfascinating has so kindly introduced me to jesus christ superstar and i have been hooked on trial before pilate because my eldest cubert fanchild's lore lines up so terribly awfully well with it and auuuughhhhhh
tldr: when he's 21 he gets into it with his sister and runs away from home, where he's essentially abducted by a small band of surviving agarthans who have formed a cult-of-sorts ,, and then they implant a crest in him (by his request- at the time he was going through an elitist mildly eugenics-esque phase).
so now with a crest his body isn't able to handle, he's rendered extremely weak and frail- but his ego remains The Most inflated. he steps out of line a not insignificant number of times while he's in service to the cult he's been swallowed up by, and he does indeed endure a not insignificant number of very brutal punishments which do not help his permanent disabilities in the slightest.

so as made popular by @sparrow0v0, i've decided to borrow their lovely blank character sheets and make one for my self-insert oc (who is also named chara so it's very easy to remember) in my oc x canon (chara x hubert -> aka cubert) au :D

more information below the cut because i'm so considerate /sar
so i didn't have the garamond font ,, so i used georgia instead.
in the most watered down summary i can give-- chara is a commoner from the leicester alliance who enrolled in the officers academy completely by rude happenstance. she is forced to trade her abilities and energy to the church in exchange for shelter and tuition as they attempt to channel her into becoming a knight. she longs to break out of the box she has been placed in and live freely on her own terms, something she has never had before. she has a sort of weak friendship/ally-dynamic with hubert for most of the normal in-game storyline, but it develops over a lot (i mean a lot) of time.
she hardly has any hypothetical supports with other characters for a reason, being that she tries her hardest not to get involved with anyone else at the academy (even friendships) so as not to hinder her own goals of escaping her situation and living without any strings.
chara isn't meant to be viewed as a playable unit, so her classes are just sort of left up to the basic class line for archers. she has a plus in faith, but it's more because she has a particular interest in the realm of healing magic, not so much that she's talented in it. in other words, she can hypothetically be successful as a healer, but she's not gifted in magic overall so she's not winning any awards.
the sprite was made using this piccrew by tannithart that i edited using a random photo editing website. i want to make an actual portrait set sometime in the future but i'll have to teach myself how to draw before that ,, so in the meantime we have workarounds ;w;

she's mainly based on my own appearance, but at this point i've crafted her into a separate entity of myself, so we only really have the same haircut and eye color now.
in terms of personality, she's inspired lightly by allison reynolds from the breakfast club, jinx/powder from arcane, hapi from three houses/hopes, merida from brave, alice kingsleigh from alice in wonderland, and coraline from coraline. (standoffish and blunt on the exterior, but imaginative and childish at heart.)
i was inspired by @midday-headcanons's method of laying out oc lore in individual posts, and if it's alright with them i'm interested in doing a similar kind of thing, especially since i don't even have all of the lore laid out in stone yet (this is a perpetual project and i'm totally happy with it fluctuating as i think of new things or develop my own storytelling abilities).
but anyway hopefully i actually get somewhere with this,, but if not we can just enjoy the fun character sheet i made :>

one's a sword-fighting jack-of-all-trades with severe mother issues and mutism.
one's an egotistical, mildly elitist genealogy nerd with a pretty face and relentless ambition (that very nearly kill them and their entire family).
and the other one is an animal caretaker constantly in a state of emotional chaos who runs off of pure rage 85% of the time (and had a phase when they were four where they acted like a dog for half a year).
i'll let you speculate who's who. no pronouns cause then that's cheating.
