I’ve been using OpenUTAU for roughly a week now, and I’m getting the hang of it. I still have much to learn, though, and there’s a bunch of terminology in using UTAUloids that I find it outright overwhelming. This is the first cover I’ve made with OpenUTAU (been mostly using it for my own compositions up to this point). I’m quite happy with the way it turned out, although I’m pretty sure there’s other folks out there who can make better OpenUTAU outputs ready to shoot me down. I’m just gonna post it here for the time being, as this is a cover song and not a「lucydream」track, so I’m not upload it on Newgrounds and SoundCloud. I’m trying to learn hwo to make a lyric video/visualizer, so it might be on YouTube, but it’s gonna take another while before I actually get any work done. -/- The song is originally in Japanese, but I translated it into English while I was bored. I only know minimal Nihongo, so instead of aiming for a literal translation, I just made it as cohesive as I can for a western audience.
