Morwadventures: Absence

Another comic of my character dealing with other characters

Apart from Morwald, Calamity and the others, I have these characters. And the that thing from the comic is true, this past 2022 I barely used them. Mostly because I was so focused with the Calamity comic, I only used them like twice and only in little doodles this last year. You can understand why they're so mad

But yeah these guys are supposed to be friends of Morwald (the character lel) and main characters of his series, I'll try to draw more things with them now that I finally finished the comic with Calamity's introduction

The bug-like one is Cucarancia, the candy cane is Tonycane, the flying fox/bat girl is Vampirania and the fairy is Cynthia. I'll introduce them properly soon, but probably you get an idea of their personalities

Ah yeah, another oddity about Morwald and other characters from his series (except for Tocoyo's dog) is that they can revive if they die, so don't worry, he'll be fine haha

Originally done this past January 3rd, and first comic of 2025 :D

I don’t usually draw Morwald outside of his house yes, that white void is inside his house (because I’m too lazy to draw backgrounds lol) so here is a glimpse of the place where he lives, Morwaland. The name is mere coincidence, he doesn’t own the place

Morwald still has to get used to it, unlike Cucaracia who rarely questions things and rarely thinks

I think I put more effort into the shading than I planned, it was supposed to be something simple haha, it was still interesting

Fun with arts and crafts

I don't know why I have that tendency to add much detail to especific weird things, like the last panel with the mind drawing ray, but it's funny. I'll try to use more of the ocs that I already have instead of creating new ones every single time. You already know Tonycane and Cucarancia anyway, the other guys are Alto Morrow (tall guy) and Poly-Play (the other one), they aren't important, but I need to clarify it

Cucarancia

Pally, hyperactive, disgusting, with lack of common sense and a dangerous ability to shoot laser beams from his eyes (that luckily he often forget he has). His shenanigans tend to cause trouble to the already chaotic world of Morwland. Fortunately his heart is in the right place and he'll try to solve everything, even if that means collateral damage for himself. Karma is who put this noisy cockroach in his place. His hobbies include hanging out with friends, drinking beer (and other vices) and flirting with girls

Here is it, one of the updated character sheets that I promised in that other comic lol. I didn't changed much of his design more than a couple of minor changes like his antennae, tail, eyelids and eyebrows, and defined more his head shape

Honestly he is more of the main character of the Morwald world than Morwald himself, mostly because he has more personality and he's more dynamic

Anyway, I still need to draw the other references, so in the meantime check these old Cucarancia doodles
