This is the stunning #caodaitemple. It’s located 50 miles north west of #hochiminhcity in Vietnam. With around 6 million followers, #caodai is one of the most popular religions in Viet Nam. "Cao" stands for "high" and "Dai" means "palace". Caodaism intends to combine the best elements from many of the main religions around the earth: Taoism, Buddhism, Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, Confucianism, in addition to other local religions. The eternal human search for the perfect religion. You are allowed to go in the temple and observe their ceremony. The temple by its self is extremely interesting, it shows elements from all the previously mentioned religions that Cao Dai combines. A truly incredible #placetovisit when traveling to Ho Chi Minh City in #Vietnam. #traveltip. The best way to come here is by a day tour. Prices are affordable. For 15 US dollars, you can find a full day tour that includes the Cao Dai Temple and the #cuchitunnels that we’ll cover in a different post. Don’t forget to check our website and take home one of the cool products we have ON SALE for you #fannypack and #summerblouse! LINK IN BIO! CU CHI TUNNEL VIETNAM. One should never be afraid to be bold, brave and dirty to experience one of the remarkable remnant of world history. So I squeezed myself in that little whole which is the entrance to the 250km underground tunnel. The bruises were worth it. #vietcong #vietnam #cuchitunnels (at Củ Chi, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam)
We were visiting the Cu Chi tunnels near 🇻🇳Saigon yesterday. Quite impressive what these guys did there in the 60s. We went through approximately 30 meters of the tunnels, whereas it's said that the whole complex was about 250 kilometers. 😯
