Garbage Pumpkin 2024!

This plant seems to be a hybrid pumpkin x yellow squash, so I've been eating the fruit unripe. Letting a couple of them grow full size to try and make jack o lanterns from, they've got crazy delicate skin but they are turning vivid orange and huge.

The other day I was reading and came across the word "cucurbit" so of course I looked it up right away and it's basically a gourd or vessel used for distillation. Neat

Ok so I have the dictionary.com app on my phone and it sends me a word of the day everyday, and the very next day, which also happened to be my birthday, guess what the word of the day was?

Fucking cucurbit!!

That means something right?? All my dreams are gonna come true right?? Cucurbit???
