A typical type of pasta made in Bologna, the “balanzoni” (the name comes from the Carnival, Dr Balanzone, typical of the city), filled with ricotta, mortadella and boiled spinach. I combined them with pistachio pesto and the final result was just yummy 🍝😋😋😋 I must admit that Bolognese cuisine has a lot of gastronomic masterpieces 👌🏻

Pizza “At the Point of the Boot” (🇮🇹 "In Punta allo Stivale") — mozzarella, smoked tuna slices, pistachio sauce, candied orange slices and chopped pistachios 🍕🧀🐟🍊😋😋😋

I already knew that tuna and pistachio is a great combo, and the candied orange added an extra taste to it 🤤 Besides, it was pretty heavy, I must say, but that doesn't mean it's savory anyway 🤷🏻‍♂️

Delicious, succulent Florentine steak 🥩🍖 🤤😋😋😋 How long it was since I ate it last time? Probably ages ago, I missed it 💔 You should try this steakhouse in Florence, prices are average and quality of meat is first-rate 👌🏻

Pizza with pepperoni (🇮🇹 se volete saperlo, quello che gli yankee chiamano "pepperoni" sarebbe il nostro 'salamino/salsiccia piccante', 'peperoni' si dice "peppers" in inglese) 🍕 Excellent, spicy just right... Maybe I ate it too hot, which didn't allow me to savor it the right way, but oh well 🤷🏻‍♂️😛

Whole-grain orecchiette with pesto sauce, mozzarella and grana cheese 🍝 Sometimes this old porcupine can still make decent stuff 👌
