Bucky had reached a point where he could not exactly tell anymore if he felt safe in DC. Steve was one thing. He always had been his best friend, after all. And he had been able to forgive Bucky. Tony Stark... he could not see him and Tony ever being friends, but Bucky could somehow handle to have him here. But Howard Stark.... he didn’t even know how Howard could still be alive. How could that even be possible? Sure, odd things were going on in this city. But this?

Though, there was still a chance that Howard Stark wasn’t Howard Stark, but just a man looking very much like him. Straightening himself, Bucky eventually decided to take the risk. He needed answers. He needed to be sure.
