not sure how unpopular this is but to me leliana’s writing in dai is really poor and it’s hard to connect with her bc they don’t do a great job of selling her drastic personality change with the time skip. her voice acting in dai feels like it noticeably worsened esp when compared to stellar voice work like sera’s, dorian’s, vivienne’s, etc

what does johnny think of vesper's relationship with rogue?

i think that in the very early stages, when vesper is feeling drawn to rogue and likewise, he would be extremely bothered, the kind of "this is one of my ex partners and i'm forced to look at her with someone else" jealousy (made even worse by the fact that, well he shares the body with that someone else). he makes a lot of mean comments to vesper every time he spots them together or when vesper tries to flirt with her: "she's just showing interest to you because of me"/"she's drawn to you only because i'm inside your brain" and so on and so forth, to which vesper always has a way to reply back ("if i were you i would simply treat my girlfriends right" mood). what i feel is the point is that johnny doesn't feel jealous because it's rogue but mostly because he hates to see that people from his past have moved on/are moving on from him. if this makes sense. in the end he would accept the relationship, as in...he would bitch about it way less but still be soar about it. guess he would feel really relieved when the things between vesper and rogue doesn't work out in the end.

also i'm aware that there's a quest where rogue and johnny can literally have a date but i'm tired of those narrativies where the female character can't move on from the past (toxic) lover while the male character literally keeps living his life like nothing ever happened so i'm ignoring it and twisting it to my own narrative asjdhkdjnc

OHH this is THE superior choice omg

okay so zefyr's route would be...a challenge. they aren't the most social person so getting close to them is hard BUT not impossible. i feel like this would be the kind of route that goes like apprentice falls for their teacher: they are a veeery powerful sorcerer and the fastest way to get close to them is telling them you need training, someone to look up to, and they would accept (flattery really goes a long way). it's gonna be gradual, one day they will realize how much being in your company makes them feel at peace and complete and the next they are feeling SHOCKED and DESPERATE knowing they developed a crush and now they absolutely need to tell you. and they would surely do!! no playing around, they would straight up say they have...inexplicable feelings for you and that if you allow them they would feel so honoured to call you their companion. this really is a lot for someone like zefyr really, they are used to live in complete loneliness and are happy to live like that so to accept someone else into their world..JUST WOW. they aren't that sweet, there's still a cold vibe around them but that's just how they are, deep down they would consider you probably the most important person in the whole universe, THE SUN even. they can’t show it very well with actions but words are their best way to show their emotions

🍋 Does your OC act petty and jealous easily? What sort of things make them feel like this and do they experience guilt for getting so worked up? How do they deal with these emotions when they get them? If your OC doesn’t feel like this often, why not?

i think violante has a complex relationship with jealousy. she could overeact very easily or just brush off the feeling as nothing happened, depends on the day really. she can be cold with her partner and seem disinterested about her lover's actions but deep down she would loathe the idea to be left alone, she would think of it as betrayal (literally her and juliana: jul wanted to leave her because she couldn't bear to stay with her anymore and violante took it veeeery bad almost killing her). also i don't think of her as petty, weirdly. she never complains but she's quite easy to anger, having no patience at all. anger makes her do many terrible things but she never regrets anything she does, no question about "good or wrong", for her there's only her way and that's the right one. i think of her as very calm (i use calm as a stretch djhfkj), or she tries to, but while trying to hide it violante really is the kind of person that can experience all kind of emotions (specifically negative) in the span of a few seconds when it's about someone she actually cares about and that makes her act unwise and prone to atrocities. hardly regrets it later.

🍒 What kind of things do they expect from their relationships? Does this differ between platonic relationships and romantic ones? Is your OC “demanding” or a door mat? What kinds of things do people expect from them in a relationship?

SHE IS DEMANDING. she demands your complete support. not without a fight, she likes when someone fights for their own ideas but in the end she wants you to do what she says. she wants to be followed in whatever little mess she’s gonna make, she’s okay with complaining but in the end what matters is that their platonic/romantic companion follows her lead. she wants complete honesty while she doesn’t give the same, prefers the truth over everything else but is reluctant to share her real intentions or feelings. violante makes you think she’s being honest with you but truth is you probably don’t know anything completely real about her. there’s a few times she can be open about her past, less about her feelings, but she really needs to trust you a lot and that doesn’t come easily. you would expect from her a less harsh and cold behaviour at least, she can be nice but she probably does it to gain something. again it’s all about what she thinks of you: if she likes you then you can expect a gentler violante. wants something from you? she’s gonna act all nice until you are no longer useful. she hates you? expect a knife in your sides.
