Post the rules. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post and then make 10 new ones. Tag 10 people and let them know you’ve tagged them.
1) Where do you see yourself in 5 years.
I'm afraid to answer because there are two options: the too realistic and depressing one where I'm still working in an office from 9-5 being miserable, or the totally unrealistic one where I do anything exciting.
2) What’s your favourite sound?(Mine’s the American train whistle.)
The sounds of another person in the area. They don't have to be talking, but that comfortable silence of going about your day in the presence of a person that would listen if you spoke.
3) If you could give an internationally televised speech, what would it be about?
It would be about how everyone needs to stop being dicks to each other and hug it out.
4) What would you really wear if there were not social limitations?
I don't think what I wear would change much. Or, rather, I would wear whatever was most comfortable.
5) What celebrity (living or dead) would you most like to meet?
That's a tough one. Maybe Benedict? Any work I have done with my novel came from a boost in confidence caused by a Cabin Pressure related inspiration. Really, in a sort of Thoreauvian way, or a "I can be what I want and live my life because it's mine and I'm the one that wants it" sort of way... If that makes sense?
6) If you could be anyone in history who would you be? (yourself, Napoleon?)
Nikola Tesla's girlfriend- or Albert Einstein, which is close enough.
7) If you had the opportunity to rob a bank and not get caught, would you do it? If so, what would you do with the money?
I want to wax philosophical about the moral standards in a society, but let's just boil it down to yes. If I had the impossible 100% garauntee that I would get away with it. With the money, I would be financially secure. I would do boring shit with it. That's how you don't get caught.
8) Favourite work of art?
For roughly a hundred years nobody noticed a typo in the Bible, and everyone painted Moses with horns instead of a halo. Besides those, there was a very old painting at the art museum on campus of a moderately pretty woman doing nothing in particular that always made me feel better. I never looked at the title, artist, or date.
9) Worst thing you’ve ever eaten?
Sushi. There isn't a story. Just. Sushi.
This is difficult. I was going to say my bear, but I think I really need my books. On the other hand, that bear is pretty awesome and I've had her my whole life. On the other hand, books.
New Questions: 1) What is/was your favorite subject to study? 2) What meal do you imagine eating when you're very hungry? 3) Who is your favorite fictional man? Woman? 4) If you could meet anyone from history, who, and what would you do together? 5) What is your go-to number for exaggerations? 6) What is your earliest memory? 7) What's your favorite smell? 8) What nickname do you have with/for your friends? 9) What's the best idea you've ever had? 10) If you could rewrite a scene in a book, which would you choose, how would you change it?
I'm terrible at coming up with new questions, these are all rather long and some have been borrowed from previous questionaires. This feels like cheating; less cheating if I admit it, though. Also, I don't know enough people on Tumblr to do 10 people, so cheating again with only 8- and I'm stalking about half of them, and I don't think it's mutual. It's less cheating if I admit, right?
