Comparing/contrasting the first time Sherlock claps eyes on John in ASIP vs TAB

While originally wanting to point out how much freer Sherlock’s unconscious self is in openly admiring John, I can’t help but notice the wide, hopeful gazes he gives John in ASIP. Though perhaps he comes across as more confident in TAB because he already knows what happens--John says yes to moving in and so much more-- there’s an unmistakable energy behind Sherlock’s cool composure in ASIP ... this is no ordinary meeting.

BONUS:

Sherlock’s smol and happy face when John is willing to share his phone (and consequently, his #)... and Mike staring at Sherlock like he’s already got it bad.

Okay but I was randomly thinking about how Sherlock was planning the stag night and wtf he was being so sentimental and special. Like all the bars where they found corpses for cases. It's like he was being Roma tic in his own way an celebrating the anniversary of them meeting rather than a bachelor party!!

I was just thinking about this the other day haha like, who gave Sherlock tips on how to plan a stag night?? “cupid” Stamford?? I can hear it now….. ok Sherlock, first make sure its just you and him. Now add a romantic personal touch. Do something meaningful and special to the both of you ……and be sure at some point take him to a gay bar …. and don’t drink too much … just enough to have fun and get loose …. and if at all possible, end the night back at the flat, just the two of you ….
