I'd like to thank everyone who shares photos from Wes Anderson exhibits, museum displays, etc. No such things occur near me, so all that you share is incredibly lovely.
Thank you kindly.

DON’T REPOST FANART
Hello. I’ll keep this short. I’ve seen several reposts this week without artist’s credit. In at least two cases, the artist’s watermark/signature was deliberately removed from the image.
DON’T DO THIS.
That wonderful Shakespeare piece I reblogged today? That was stolen art. I’ve removed it from my blog. The artist SPECIFICALLY says on their twitter that they don’t want their art reposted (without permission).
Original artist posted it here (X).
Uncredited repost here (X). (I doubt permission was given, as there wasn’t even an artist credit.)
A new school year has begun. Traditionally this used to mean a lot of new people who needed education in how to behave themselves online. Looks like that may still be true.
Someone on tumblr has taken the time to gather together information on HOW NOT TO BE A DICK with respect to art online. Read and learn here:

I was working on a post about an artist on instagram who has created quite a bit of really nice Good Omens fanart. It would have included links to all of their pieces so far. Now I’m not sure that’s a good idea. Will that just encourage more irresponsible reposting? I’ve already seen two or three reposts of their art here this summer; I don’t want to be responsible for more.
Thoughts?
This blog on hiatus
I can’t work from the hospital, so consider @good-omens-fanart and @good-omens-fan-comics on hiatus until further notice.
If you are a good omens blog that reblogs fanart, please consider adding a pointer to your blog in the notes on this post. Help this fandom get its art fix!
Truly I want to be able to buy all the movies and other things I like in physical form. I want making-ofs that are an hour long. I want movie commentaries. I want individual special features that focuses on the costumes and the casting and the sets and the locations. I will pay to have that live physically in my home.
At the end of Fantastic Mr. Fox, Mr. Fox toasts to their survival and they drink their drinks and then they dance. And they dance. And they dance.
Survive & dance & survive & dance & survive & dance & survive & dance & survive & dance.
It's a good toast.
My darlings,
If you could send me some positive thoughts or vibes or prayers or what-have-you, please do. I have to put down one of my cats tomorrow and I am heartbroken.
Her name is Poe. She is really my husband's cat, but we started dating less than two years after he adopted her, so I have known her for a long time and love her dearly. But she is sick and this the best thing to do for her.
But, I'm very sad to lose her (as is my husband), so please send some support if you can. I have four other cats but the house will still feel so empty without her distinctive presence.
It may be getting to the point where I possibly cannot afford to not speak French as a Wes Anderson fan.
A local theater had a Royal Tenenbaums and Life Aquatic double feature last night. It was my first time being able to go see those movies on the big screen.
It was delightful.
