The actress, who most recently appeared opposite husband John Travolta in 'Gotti,' had been battling breast cancer for two years.
RIP Kelly Preston 1962-2020
Sad news today that actress Kelly Preston has died at 57 after a 2 year battle with breast cancer.
I first noticed her in a bunch of 80s teens movies, i.e. John Carpenter’s Christine, Mischief (did any teenage boy in the 80s NOT have a crush on her after seeing that movie?), Secret Admirer, and SpaceCamp. She was also noteworthy in Amazon Women on the Moon, an episode of Tales from the Crypt, Alexander Payne’s Citizen Ruth, and Cameron Crowe’s Jerry Maguire. She was also a part of the Quentin Tarantino Universe as newscaster Kelly Houge in From Dusk Till Dawn and again in Curdled. I’m sure QT became acquainted with her through her husband John Travolta.

1837. Curdled Pastoral
This is called “Curdled Pastoral.” I want to die inside of a Slurpee.
Somebody has turned up and caused strife in the farmlands again!
It happens, like a practiced sunset, like a performed memory...
All my life I am just waiting for the right moment to gag and turn my thumb down...
This lake is disgusting. This mountain stinks. This view isn’t worth the headache of living the rest of the day out.
Opinions on the matter fill me like so many little Buddhas in the home of a person trying to be Buddhist...
...Once, in a previous life, I was nature. I crawled down a forested hill. I napped on a log. I drank rain from large petals. I had no urge to analyze why I was so thoroughly and deeply problematic...
