Secluded away in a machine room within Shaska's expansive lab, Umbran was quiet as he worked on what was left of his prized ride chaser. He didn't ask how Shaska had managed to get the entire wreck from the wastelands. But, he certainly appreciated it.
Working on trying to rebuild his ride chaser gave him something to do, something to keep his mind busy and his hands moving.
Unfortunately, progress was slow. It wasn't a problem of the tools and equipment not being good enough or anything like that. The tools and equipment were completely fine. It was more the fact that they weren't his tools, his equipment, his space.
He couldn't bring himself to organize anything in this room how he'd like it, because it wasn't his space to organize. Even if he was told otherwise, it just didn't feel right. But it meant that his workflow was rather stilted and frustrating, which led him to often taking breaks before he snapped. That, however, led to it's own problems.
Right now though, he was forcing himself to power through the frustration as he worked on the engine, inspecting every last inch to see what he could fix, what would need replacing, if any of it could be salvaged in the first place.
Being so entirely focused, he certainly didn't expect to have any visitors (other than Panzer).
